Continuing its 20th anniversary celebration through a series of 20 complimentary learning sessions, Assessment Analytics, Inc. (AAI) held another webinar last May 15, 2026, titled “Labor Law Compliance Update for HR Practitioners.” The session brought together HR professionals, business leaders, and practitioners who wanted to better understand recent labor law updates and compliance concerns in today’s workplace.
The session was led by Atty. Michelle Carisse S. Balois, Managing Partner of Feria Tantoco Daos Law Offices, who shared practical legal insights based on her experience in labor and employment matters, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management across different industries.
The discussion covered recent labor regulations and important Supreme Court decisions that may affect employers and HR practitioners. Topics included occupational safety and health standards, anti-discrimination policies, sexual harassment compliance, probationary employment, procedural due process, accepted job offers, and recent illegal dismissal cases.
Participants also gained practical guidance on handling workplace concerns, improving documentation and due process, responding properly to harassment complaints, and reducing labor-related risks through fair and compliant HR practices. The session highlighted the importance of timely action, consistency, proper documentation, and compliance in managing employee relations.
