Day 1 Capiztahan 2024: A Celebration of Gastronomy and Culture with TMES and AAI


On Day 1 of the Capiztahan 2024, Assessment Analytics, Inc. (AAI), in collaboration with TMES participants, had the honor of assisting in the successful launch of gastronomic tourism in Capiz. This highly anticipated event brought together a rich tapestry of food, culture, and tradition, with Pamimyesta as the highlight of the celebration.


Pamimyesta featured booths from various cities across Capiz, offering a delectable selection of local dishes that showcased the region’s vibrant culinary heritage. From traditional Capiznon seafood to regional delicacies, the festival was a feast for the senses.

The festivities were made even more colorful by the attendees, who donned festival costumes, adding a lively, cultural touch to the atmosphere. The event was not just about food—local Capiznon artists performed live music and dance, filling the air with energy and local pride.


As part of the Tourism Marketing Educational Seminar (TMES), this event allowed participants to experience how gastronomic tourism can promote local culture and enhance the region’s appeal to tourists. AAI played a crucial role in assisting the Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) in organizing the event, contributing to the seamless execution of this vibrant celebration.


The success of Capiztahan 2024 demonstrates the potential of regional festivals to elevate tourism and celebrate local culture. AAI is honored to have been part of this momentous event and looks forward to continuing its support of regional tourism initiatives.
